Is this an online veterinary service?+
No. Luxembourg law prohibits remote veterinary consultation and diagnosis. Ninou provides non-medical first-aid information, directs you to the official veterinary emergency roster, and lets you book appointments at physical clinics—never diagnosis or prescription remotely.
How are service providers verified?+
Identity and insurance are checked before a profile goes live. In this prototype, verification is simulated and no real identification documents are retained.
Are my data protected?+
Yes. Data minimization, explicit consent, right to deletion and portability, Europe-hosted data (GDPR/CNPD). No genetic data is collected.
What languages is the platform available in?+
Five languages: French, German, Luxembourgish, English, and Portuguese.
How do payments work?+
In this prototype, payments use Stripe's test mode: no real amounts are charged.
